This is one of the strangest websites I have come across. I guess it is true you can find anything on the Internet! Take warning; although this site is safe for work, it does pertain to poop so some may find it distasteful.

At Nick’s urging I have joined Friendster. I am still not quite sure what I think of it. It is built on the “Web of Trust” model that PGP has made famous, but you automatically trust your friends as “Trusted Introducers” with a maximum trust depth of four. Therefore if I add Nick as a friend, Nick’s friends, Nick’s friends’ friends, and Nick’s friends’ friends’ friends are seen as valid members of my “Personal Network”. Of course Nick is seen as inherently valid as I have personally designated him as a friend. I would be much happier if the trust depth was definable per friend. I might trust Nick to a depth of three, but there may be other friends that I only trust to a depth of two, or for some friends, whoose ability to judge the character of others is questionable, I may not trust them to introduce me to their friends at all.
If you are a member of Friendster, feel free to add me as a friend. I feel like such a loser with only three friends and no testimonials. Wait a second… I am a loser!

I’ll be outside of Detroit in Dearborn, MI next week. I am pretty sure I will be there for the next week, and I may be there through the end of June. I should be able to post an update by the end of next week.
I haven’t been completing many entries lately, or spending much time on the entries I do get around to. Of course I don’t really think anyone cares all that much. Although the “vomit” link was kind of fun. I have actually been busy enough that I haven’t really had time to fiddle with the computer much at home. Even my personal email has gone mostly unanswered. Then again, I am not terribly good at keeping up with people on email or on the phone, or via snail mail. Really it isn’t personal, I am just a bit flighty these days. I am actually on vacation this week, and still this is the first time I have taken any time to make a lengthy blog entry.
I have been busting my rear trying to get everything I wanted to down outside before it started raining again! What happened to the f’ing drought? I didn’t get time to make a good dent on my outside chore list, but I did finally get my first lawnmower. I even put it to good use yesterday, no more weed whacking the front yard for me! Although I didn’t have enough sunshine to pick up all of the sticks and rocks in the back yard after I weed whacked it down to four inches.
This is one of the strangest (dumbest) things I have seen on the Internet! That link again if you missed it the first time.
A couple of weekends ago my Mom and Step-Dad visited, and I got to see their new house. After ten years in their 34 foot Winnebago Adventurer they upgraded to a 2003 36 foot Fleetwood Bounder. It is pretty nice inside, but the included dining table and couch were replaced with the old ones from the Winnebago. They opted for the Workhorse Chassisand the 8.1 liter pictures if you are interested.
Counrty music legend June Carter Cash passed away last night. Full story here.
I am going to be taking next week off to get some work done on the yard and house. Hopefully I will also find some time for a bit of reading. I was thinking of something from the Books that will induce a mindfuck list. It seems to contain a lot of books that I enjoyed reading, and none that I read and disliked (unless I blocked the bad ones from my memory. Any Recommendations?
Here are the books from the list that I remember reading.
Adams, Douglas
* The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy
* The Restaurant at the End of the Universe
* Life, the Universe, and Everything

Bradbury, Ray
* Fahrenheit 451
Burgess, Anthony
* A Clockwork Orange
