I am headed out of the country for a couple of weeks so unless I find a cheap Internet cafe in Taipei, there won’t be any updates until the middle of December. If you are really bored you can track the flight with trip.com’s FlightTracker.
The schedule is

Monday 2nd 2:20pm (~3:20am EST) United Flight 844
I plan on taking lots of notes and will hopefully have the time to post about the high / low points of the trip when I return.
If anyone has any special request for items from, or pictures of, Taipei you have 24 hours to let me know.

Long metal fingertip things? I will keep my eyes out, but since I have no idea what you are talking about I would say that the chances are slim.

think edward scissorhands, or freddy from “a nightmare on elm street”. but they look nicer, and aren’t necessarily part of the hand. good for drawing blood from whomever is offering it to you.
bring her back some stinky tofu while you’re at it

i think we can all figure out that part of the honeymoon.
and yeah, stinky tofu has been fermented. i’m sure katherine can describe the entire process, or at least find someone who can.
