For those of you that haven’t heard, the DOD had a plan to measure the likelihood of a terrorist attack using a futures market. The Washington Post is reporting that Dascle and Warner are putting a stop to the program. So my reporting isn’t terribly timely for those of you the like to be outraged at some of the stranger ideas our government comes up with.
However, this should be enough to piss off any privacy advocates out there.

Sweet, with this technology, we can spy on anyone anytime, analyze there breeding and migration patterns. Hell, we should should just tag everyone to make it easier. Besides, I think I would look good with a tag! Atleast I bet Jenny would think so.

No, no tag yet, atleast not that I know of. Wait, there was that time when I felt something sting me and then woke up sometime later. Hmmm.

Nah if we can triangulate faces well enough we won’t need tags. It will be cheaper that way!
