CNN recently reported that this years deficit will add up to about $1500 per person! Personally I am ready to fork over $3K for me and Katherine, but only if everyone else agrees to do the same thing! Deficits suck, we need a balanced budget amendment.

Personally, I think rich people owe more, given they got massive tax breaks. I think Bill Gates can kick in a few million.

Yeah, I wouldn’t mind kicking in either, but only when we stop crap like money to research more efficient ways to turn oil into hydrogen for our hydrogen based fuel economy. I seem to remember learning early in my academic career(like kindegarten) that the earth is covered in a bit more water than oil - we could use that, but wait, that wouldn’t make them enough money! Stupid f’ing politicians on both sides should burn in a pool of the oil they help bring into this country.
